What budget range is typical for a 10–14 day trip?
For 10–14 days, a luxury South Africa trip typically lands around USD $10,000–$14,000 per person (and can go higher depending on suite categories, private air transfers, ultra-luxury lodges, and peak-season travel).
What level of accommodation do you use?
We use hand-picked, high-comfort to luxury properties — typically:
- 5-star city hotels / iconic waterfront stays
- luxury Winelands estates
- premium golf resorts
- top safari lodges (often including all meals and game drives)
Can you secure specific suites / room types?
Yes — we can request specific suite categories and room types (e.g., harbour view, villa, manor house suite, private plunge pool suites).
Two important notes:
It’s always subject to availability at time of booking (the earlier you book, the better the odds).
Some ultra-popular suites require minimum stay rules or peak-season premium rates.
How far in advance should I book?
For luxury travel, a good rule of thumb:
6–9 months ahead for most of the year
9–12+ months ahead for peak periods (Christmas/New Year, school holidays) and for top safari lodges + the best suite categories
If your trip includes limited-access experiences (exclusive lodges, certain golf tee times, special event dates), earlier is always safer.
How customisable are the itineraries?
Highly customisable. We can tailor:
pace (relaxed vs. “see it all”)
routing (Cape Town + Winelands + Garden Route + Safari, etc.)
accommodation style (boutique-only, big-brand luxury, ultra-private)
interests (food & wine, golf, wildlife, photography, wellness, adventure)
Most guests start with a “base itinerary” and we refine it until it fits perfectly.

It depends on the itinerary, but luxury packages typically include:
accommodation (often with daily breakfast, and safari lodges frequently include meals + game drives)
airport meet & greet / arrival support
private transfers and/or curated transport (sometimes a premium rental category)
pre-booked activities listed on the itinerary (e.g., game drives, selected experiences)
24/7 in-destination support
Common exclusions:
international flights
meals/drinks not specifically included (especially premium/imported drinks at lodges)

Do you handle special requests (dietary, mobility, privacy)?
Absolutely. We regularly handle:
dietary requirements (allergies, kosher/halal requests where feasible, vegetarian/vegan, gluten-free)
mobility considerations (step-free rooms, reduced walking routes, private pacing)
privacy needs (low-key properties, private guides/vehicles, discreet check-ins where possible)
The earlier we know, the more seamlessly we can build it in.
Will we have private guides/transfers, or is it shared?
Luxury travel is usually private: private transfers, private touring, and a personalised pace. Many itineraries are built around private airport and day-to-day transfers, and we can keep the whole trip fully private end-to-end if that’s your preference.
